A Christmas-themed, instructor led, LEGO workshops on Friday December 20th with 4 workshops to chose from. Session pricing is open play plus LEGO add-on, each session has a separate registration, however if you would like to participate for multiple after adding the first workshop use code “snapspc24dec20” to discount each additional workshop. 

All participating children have access to open play before and after their session. Sessions are below, you can find out details of each workshop by clicking the Book Now button.

Workshop 1 Robotics Holiday Train (9am registration slot, activity starts 9:15am)

Workshop 2 Mosaic LEGO build: Santa Claus and Reindeer (10am registration slot, activity starts 10:15am)

Workshop 3 Robotics Santa’s Reindeer (11am registration slot, activity starts 11:15am)

Workshop 4 Mosaic LEGO Build: Christmas Tree with Presents Underneath and Elf (12pm registration slot, activity starts 12:15pm)

By the end of the workshop, each child will have a stunning holiday creation to display proudly and share with family and friends. Join us for an unforgettable LEGO-building adventure full of Christmas cheer!

Classes are run by an instructor from Snapology of Livingston and have access to our great indoor playspace.

Come in for a session of Martial Arts run by the head instructor of Family Martial Arts Center – Scotch Plains for our weekly Kinder Dojo class program. Each class includes a 30-minute instructor-led Karate Lesson and kids get access to the play space for open play for the entire 1pm-4:30pm session. Classes run in 6-week program consisting of 1 class per week.

Children should dress in comfortable clothing that allows them to move with ease. Socks are required in the play space.

This class is suited for ages 2-5.

Our indoor playground‘s exciting science program is sure to keep your children interested and engaged! Kids get to dig into the “why” and “how” of the world, with hands-on experiments. Through fun and interactive lessons, kids learn about topics such as rockets, space science, physics, earth science, and more! Open play is included, come before class from 1pm until class starts!

The messy art class you and your littles ones have been looking for! Children enjoy creating out of traditional and nontraditional art supplies. Anything from egg cartons or modeling clay are fair game to see their work come to life. Each class is themed to engage your child. Experimentation is key, THINK MESSY, smock provided!

Students ages 5-6 engage in fun and exciting STEAM activities using the LEGO platform to discover physical science in action. Students experiment with forces, motion, and other science concepts through easy hands-on experiments to spark their curiosity without the use of any additional technology.

Mommy & Me Classes

Mommy & Me: Included as part of open play during the times below beginning Thursday Sep 9th. Each week the class will focus on an aspect of speech and language or motor development. Tips and strategies to foster language growth and motor progress will be discussed and modeled, parents will get to try exercises with their babies, interact and share their experiences in a conductive setting, and carryover ideas will be provided at conclusion of each class at Exceptional Explorers. Ideal for babies 6 to 24 months. Simply register for open play at the below times!

Students ages 9-14 in fun LEGO-inspired projects to get ready for the annual FIRST LEGO League Challenge competition.  Each year, teams of students engage in research, problem solving, coding, and engineering to solve real-world problems through the use of LEGOs.  Students will engage in building and programing LEGO Mindstorms robots as well as preparing a research assignment.  Winter and spring semesters are designed to prepare students by focusing on robot design and programming fundamentals.  The fall semester builds on the students’ acquired knowledge to prepare them for the NJ State Qualifying tournaments.
